Multimodal interaction for CAMI systèmes
(design methods) |
|
|
This multidisciplinary
project (HCI and CAMI) focuses on interaction between the surgeon and
Computer-Asssisted Surgery systems. Such systems
provide information to enrich the way the surgeon interact
with her/his natural environment. This project aims at designing usable
systems, and preventing the ad-hoc design driven by technology. Applying our
method, several interaction techniques can be easily defined and combined.
The designer and the surgeon can choose the most appropriate techniques. In a
case study, this method is used to create some innovative interaction
techniques using a specific display device: a mini-screen (see picture). |
