PID/DRR data fusion for patient set-up in
radiotherapy |
|
External radiotherapy requires repositioning each day the patient
relatively to the radiation machine. We have developed a method based
registration of data acquired on the treatment machine (high intensity X-ray
PID images) to data corresponding to the ideal set-up computed from the CT
scan (DRR radiograph simulation). Because automatic processing of PID images
is very difficult, we have developed a voxel-based
method avoiding segmentation. Differents similarity
measures and optimization algorithms have been evaluated. 2D/2D and 3D/3D
registration have been tested. |
