PhD Student, Grenoble University

Mathematical and computationnal biology, laboratoire TIMC-IMAG

I am a PhD student in the fields of statistical population genetics and evolutionary genomics. Since 2011, I develop computational and statistical methods for the inference of population structure, demography and local adaptation from genomic data. My approaches are mainly based on MCMC, machine learning and approximate Bayesian approaches, including geographic and environmental data. My goal is to provide powerful statistical tools to help population geneticists. Open source software implementing the methods such as LFMM and sNMF are available. My PhD is supervised by Olivier Francois (TIMC-IMAG) and Guillaume Bouchard (XRCE). My PhD is supported by a grant (CIBLE-2010) from la région Rhône-Alpes.     Me
