Research activities

The aim of this research is to gain a better understanding of the mechanisms responsible for cell motility. A special interest is given to the environmental factors which strongly influence cell movements and their contribution in self-organisation of the cells into more complex structures such as vascular cords. Cell motility and angiogenesis are studied with theoretical models and numerical simulations based on in vitro observations and image analysis.
